Chocolate Chip Peanut Butter Protein Balls

Ain’t no party like a protein ball party! When you are craving a mid-afternoon snack and you don’t want to reach for something unhealthy, these protein power balls are the perfect guilt-free treat. They not only involve peanut butter and chocolate, but they are a great afternoon pick me up.

Ingredients:

¼ cup of VeganSmart vanilla protein powder

½ cup peanut butter

2 tbs pure maple syrup

1 tsp vanilla extract

Directions:

Mix all above ingredients together. Then add any optional mix-ins from the list below. Roll into 1” balls. We covered ours in shredded coconut flakes! Place in refrigerator to chill for 10 minutes before eating.

Optional mix-ins or toppings:

¼ cup dark chocolate chips or cacao nibs

¼ cup unsweetened shredded coconut flakes

Drizzle melted dark chocolate chips on top

This recipe yields about 12-15 protein balls. Store in refrigerator for up to 5-7 days. Serving size is 1-2 balls.
