Some people say that health is about diet much more than exercise. While I completely agree, I also believe that fitness and exercise is an integral part of a healthy lifestyle, so I prioritize fitness into my schedule every day. People who are fitter are healthier and live better lives. Inactivity and lack of exercise can lead to loss of muscle, reduced functional ability and a lack of energy. It’s important to get your heart pumping and your sweat dripping. It helps release those “good feeling” endorphin’s and get rid of any toxins you may have pent up inside your body. I absolutely love working out because I have fun with it! If you do it just for the sake of getting it done, you won’t want to do it because you don’t enjoy it, so try doing something new and exciting that makes you want to sweat! Yoga counts too! Just make sure to stretch before and after so you can keep up your new fitness regime because tight and complaining muscles definitely will not be in favor of you working out again the day after.
Everyone needs the same energy-sustaining fuel for working out, vegan or not and this doesn’t have to be meat, eggs, or dairy products. So to make sure you’re eating the right food to fuel these workouts be sure to fuel and replenish your body with high protein packed snacks to give working muscles the amino acids they need to rebuild.
