Who is Liz Arch?

Liz Arch, the yoga expert who’s from Hawaii, has always loved fresh food. She is a strong believer in clean eating for energy and vitality and that is why she loves VeganSmart, it perfectly aligns with her philosophy. Beyond just loving VeganSmart, she created Primal Yoga® which mixes Vinyasa with Kung Fu but has the grace of Tai Chi. When she isn’t teaching Primal Yoga® classes, she is keeping herself busy with many other projects. She has an Instagram account, with over 62,000 followers, to which she posts pictures and videos of herself doing yoga daily and aims to empower women by working with a non-profit called Purple Dot Yoga Project.

Primal Yoga® stems from the Liz’s passion of martial arts and deep desire to empower people. In the past she competed in Kung Fu and Tai Chi and now trains in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. By creating Primal Yoga®, Liz is an entrepreneur that carves the way for other people to experience her unique take on yoga and create their own voice from the program. Even though Liz has found success, she has faced hardships surrounded by building a business and brand. From these hardships, she learned that you can do anything as long as you are dedicated to what you love.

Her Instagram account consists of her life. Mostly she posts pictures and videos of herself doing yoga in various places including her backyard, with friends and on beaches. Besides just posting about yoga, she occasionally has posts about the food she eats and just her life in general. She is a vegan and strongly believes in eating fresh food, which she attributes to growing up in Hawaii. Her favorite foods are pineapple, mango, and lilikoi (passion fruit), acai bowls, and vegan pumpkin pie.

Purple Dot Yoga Project is important to Liz because she found herself in an abusive relationship in her twenties. She had felt worthless and choice-less but now about 10 years later, she has regained strength and moves toward empowering women. Purple Dot Project is a non-profit that helps to give abused women the empowerment to go from victim to survivor by using yoga to find their inner strength.
