Liz Arch is the creator of Primal Yoga®, a dynamic yoga/martial arts fusion class that merges Vinyasa yoga with the artistry of Kung Fu and the grace of Tai Chi into a creative, intelligent and mindful flow.
 Liz has over 10 years of experience in various yoga and martial arts styles including Vinyasa Yoga, Yoga Nidra, traditional Northern-style Kung Fu (empty hand and weapons), Yang-style Tai-Chi, Self-Healing Qi Gong and Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. She holds a Tai Chi Quan Certification from the Beijing Tai Chi and Kung Fu Academy and has competed and won local and national Kung Fu and Tai Chi competitions. She holds multiple yoga certifications, including a SmartFlow Yoga certification from Annie Carpenter and a Yoga Tune Up® certification from Jill Miller. Liz has trained celebrities, musicians and Olympic athletes, and travels the world leading teacher training programs, workshops and yoga retreats.
 Liz was named one of the “100 Women to Watch in Wellness” in 2015 by MindBodyGreen and has graced the covers of international yoga magazines including Om Yoga Magazine, Yoga Life Magazine, and Yoga & Wellness Magazine. She has contributed as a health and wellness expert to Self, Mind Body Green, Hauteliving, Vital Juice, The Chalkboard Mag, Elephant Journal, and more. She has also been featured in modeling campaigns for Athleta, Lululemon, RYU, and Yogitoes to name a few!
 She is a firm believer in the capacity of yoga to heal on both a physical and emotional level. She currently serves as Board Chair for The Purple Dot Yoga Project, a non-profit organization that raises awareness for domestic violence by supporting and empowering individuals affected by trauma and abuse through yoga. She also serves as an Advisory Board Member for A Window Between Worlds, a national non-profit organization that uses art as a healing tool to empower and transform the lives of individuals and communities impacted by domestic violence and trauma.

• Creating Primal Yoga® in 2009, which combines yoga and martial arts into one dynamic and fluid form; being voted one of “100 Women to Watch in Wellness” in 2015 by MindBodyGreen.
• Being featured on the cover of Om Yoga Magazine, YogaLife Magazine and Yoga & Wellness Magazine.
• Receiving my blue belt in Jiu-Jitsu.

Proudest Moments:
• One of my proudest moments just happened recently, when I was asked to join The Purple Dot Yoga Project (PDYP) as Board Chair. The PDYP is a non-profit that uses yoga as a tool to help heal, support and empower individuals impacted by domestic violence and trauma. It is a cause very close to my heart and part of my life’s path to do this work. I am so honored to be a part of such a beautiful and compassionate community of change makers.

Commit to a sport or activity that you love. Being passionate about your workout of choice will keep you consistent and inspired. And drink a lot of water!
